From our Executive Director, Laura K. Rowland

Dear Coalition Members,

First, I'd like to take a moment and remind everyone about our quarterly Coalition meeting this Wednesday, November 19th.  We will have Sarah Couch from the Bernalillo Health Collaborative presenting as well as Dominic Cappello who will be speaking.
Since we last met we have had some exciting changes and some great accomplishments.  We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday as we learn from our guests and share our most recent successes.

Second, on Sunday November 30th, there will be an Out of the Darkness Walk here in Albuquerque at Balloon Fiesta Park from 1:00pm-3:00pm.  The Out of the Darkness walk promotes suicide awareness and is a great event to bring out the family and enjoy the amazing New Mexico weather.  There is still time to register as an individual or as a team. You can even join an existing team on the website.  I know that this a holiday weekend and most people will be enjoying time with family and friends, or traveling. If you are in town please consider registering and walking with us as we promote suicide awareness in out state.
You can register to walk at the Out of the Darkness website.

In closing I hope that we see all of you at our Coalition meeting and if not - I hope to see you at the walk!

With warm regards,
Laura K. Rowland
Executive Director
