Participants completing this training will:
ü Understand why suicide is a serious public health problem.
ü Learn how the trauma of suicide has lasting effects on families and the community.
ü Obtain the skills and information you need to intervene with a person at risk for suicide.
ü Meet and connect with others interested in reducing suicide in our community.
ü Learn about resources available to you for substance abuse, mental health, and suicide prevention.
ü Find out about the Pojoaque Valley strategic plan to address suicide in our community.
