National Suicide Prevention Week Training Series
All trainings are free, open to the public, and will be held in the Training Center of the United Way of Central New Mexico at 2340 Alamo SE, Albuquerque (south of Yale & Gibson, on east side of street).
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Gatekeeper Training teaches you how to recognize when someone may be suicidal, and how you can persuade and refer someone to professional help. Visit www.QPRInstitute.com for more information.

- 9:30-12:00: QPR Gatekeeper Training for Faith Communities, with Dr. Jana Spalding, open to spritual leaders across all faiths
- 1:00-4:00: QPR Gatekeeper Training for Native American Communities, with Susan Casias, MSW, ASCW
- 8:30-11:30: QPR for Youth Workers, with Nancy Kirkpatrick, Youth Suicide Prevention Program Coordinator, New Mexico Department of Health
- 12:00-2:00: Supporting Survivors of Suicide Attempt, with Sabrina Strong, MPH (bring a brown bag lunch)
